I scoped about his session and a few people mentioned they'd be interested in my notes, so here you go! If you need any clarification, let me know, but I tried my best :)
Awesome background by Lindsey
There are 4
types of people moving the bus – the bus is a representation of our goals
1.Runners – they have immense passion and
go above and beyond – don’t do it for recognition – focused on “How can I make
this school better?” They do things because they need to be done.
2.Joggers – Want a little bit more
attention and think they’re runners.
3.Walkers – Want people to slow down – slow
down the others a little bit. Negative influence at times.
4.Riders – they pick up their feet and are
the dead weight. These do enough to not get fired.
Don’t
be a sponge for negativity – it’ll lead to you not being able to be a runner
because you’ll be weighed down by it - instead be positive because that in turn will lead others around you to be positive
I hope that helped or inspired you in some way.
